What instruments do you rely on daily?
I reach for a Barnhart 5/6 most days — it’s quick on posterior interproximals and adapts well to tight contacts. If deposits are tenacious, I’ll hit it briefly with a thin Cavitron insert, then refine with the hand scaler. For the tools you “rely on daily,” are you getting better longevity from rigid shanks or the sharpen-free steels in a 60-minute block?
