With so many opportunities out there, finding the right fit is just a matter of time. Good luck out there this week!

I took a teledentistry hygiene contract this spring; keep a one-page PDF packet (license, CPR, CE) ready so you can apply within minutes. Before jumping, ask them to define ‘remote’ and the ‘bonus’ math in writing and whether it’s W-2 or 1099 — those ‘huge bonuses’ can vanish like Bigfoot if the quota’s unrealistic.

@dwilson03 +1 — when I did remote hygiene screenings, the biggest win was a simple intake/note template and getting the pay plan and “no-show policy” in writing, since some “bonuses” only kick in after unrealistic call volumes. Small caveat: confirm you’re licensed for the patient’s state and that they provide HIPAA-compliant software/BAA, or you’ll end up buying gear and playing IT at 8 p.m.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

One thing I learned the hard way: when a posting says “remote,” ask exactly which patient states you’ll cover; my last telehygiene gig required active WA and TX licenses even though I live in OR, and they wouldn’t release the “huge bonus” until both were verified. If they want you to start fast, see if they’ll sponsor temp licensure or let you begin with states you already hold while others process.
